In your past games, you really seemed to keep your head in the sand about the speed complaints, and your better here. Appreciate it. I have always liked your games but the lagging as the game went on REALLY got on my nerves. The games always look great, but sometimes I think your sacrificing payability so it looks nice. I still think speed is an issue here, but it's better. Maybe in the future you can streamline things even more, which in my opinion, would make your games MUCH better. Thanks for the submission though.

"Great, A Fun Time Waster"

Good game, it's not so hard that it's frustrating, but there's enough of a challenge to make it engaging. I didn't have much of an incentive to buying the bomb or ice canons because the price was so high, so maybe tweek those so players can more easily experiment with them.

Was fun, beat it with 35 lives, two super monkeys and a BUNCH of dart towers. Nothing else.

sorry man, but you should have been trying to make an entertaining game. besides it being boring, it took FOREVER to move around. If the plot was interesting, which is was not, a bunch of people would prolly quit before letting it unfold because it takes forever to get anywhere. everybody else has laready mentioned the lack of monsters and what-not, so I'll just drive home the point that is is BORING. It looks nice, sounds pretty good, nice style, even though it's pretty typical, but it is so overwhelmingly boring I can't give this anything higher than a two. I guess the next time you make something, just try to keep in mind that people have to play it.

but it was too random. I noticed the thid time around that I did have to have some strategy to win, but sometimes I just got screwed and had to face an uber-bad guy who could kill me no matter what. i would say you either have to tone down some of the tougher baddies or give us more exp points. I also noticed that no matter how high I set my charisma (once, I spent all the starting points on charisma) the amount I won was the same, even though the game says higher charisma mean more money. I've only played five times, and never made it past the third champion. Maybe I just haven't caught on to something yet, and no changes need to be made (other than the charisma thing, if you meant for it to affect money won, you should fix that). In either case, this is a fun game. Thanks for the distraction.

yeah, i guess i agree, but why take the time to make this submission when you coulda jus said that in the bbs? well, your time spent, no skin off my nose. not really a great animation. the slowly fading text is really corny in my opinion, not just in your flash. i can't blam this, cuz it's just not that bad, but then again, i don't see why it needs to be on NG. gave it a 2.

i just came up on this, and i'm glad i did. most people who will get this joke are usually stuffy english lit major (me being and english major who doesn't take things so seriously) and you make into such a kiddy joke. the use of the anime girls were perfect. they were just annoying enough to fit into the joke and just shy of so annoying i wanted to kill me pc. the bit with H.P Lovecraft banging his head in the grave was expected (if you knew the source material) but still hilarious. Plus, the Cthulhu doll was genuinly cute, I want to buy one for my niece. This is very good homour, and as a NG member since qround '02, I'm not used to seeing good humour on this site. Thanks for making my day.

pretty good, def. better than the arrogant prick's submission before who posted before me. for one, you had more going on visually while he just had his figures in front of the 'camera' mostof the time. yours was also higher quality audio. your figures were also more complex in their rendering. to be fair, his didn't suck, it just wasn't as good as yours.

But overrated. It looks good, really good, but you ruined the atmoshpere you were setting up with the look of the flash with that horrible metal music. i also find the story stale. man's wife dies, he can't get over it... it's a movie an angsty teen would come up with to show everybody how his soul is 'tortured and black as midnight in hell' or whatever, although you executed it well. Kinda emo, which I know you weren't going for. Better than your other work, which seemed a little to aware of itself, trying too hard to make a point, know what I mean? You have skills as an animator, but I think you have to sit and think long and hard about what you are trying to communicate in your art and then do so in a good way. A good poet says as much as possible in as few words as possible. Watching your other films, I feel like I'm being hit over the head with what your trying to say. To some up, try more subtlety in your work.

c'mon yall, saying this thing is deep to show your smart is wack. tell me why. as far as i'm concerned, he's a soldier, the gun and helmet are the markers for a soldier's grave when they die on the battlefield. i don't think the 'angel' was an angel at all, but the soldiers immortal soul leading him into the land of the dead (the skeletons and the dead tree [trees are a symbol for, among other things, life] are indicators of this.) the earth splitting in two and the fetus falling out is the soul of the planet. it's an anti-war image. War is killing the planet. Then the eye appears and looks down on the soldier, who has collapsed in grief. I think the eye is God, watching his child feel remorse for what he has done with the life given to him, and in this way, the soldier is a symbol for all of mankind. Am I smart for that? No, i just tried to read into the symbolism instead of labeling it deep and hoping people won't ask me anything else about the short. Hell, I may even be wrong, but at least I took a risk. I hate fake intellectuals. Posers.
